Summer in Keystone

Our summers in Keystone Resort are amazing.  With over 300 days of sunshine each year, mild temperatures and little humidity, Keystone is a great place to spend your summers.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

MOUNTAIN BIKING- Everyone knows, Keystone has great skiing, but not everyone is aware of the GREAT mountain and road biking available in and around the resort. Keystone also has the longest and best DOWNHILL trails…IF you’ve never tried downhill mountain biking, you need to. A lift pas purchased from Keystone at the bottom of the mountain gets you and your bike lifted to the top. You can then choose to drift down the road (4 miles) or green, blue black trails. The blues and blacks provide a bone-jarring x-treme sporting experience that is recommended for experienced (or at least adventurous) riders. And the way the mountain is arranged, if you try a trail and it’s too hard, the road is not far away for an easy way down.

WHITEWATER RAFTING- Whitewater River Rafting in Colorado makes a great highlight to a summer vacation! KODI Rafting in Frisco has been offering amazing white water river raft trips in Colorado since 1986.

GOLF- Two amazing courses. Thirty-six incredible, championship holes. These have made Keystone one of the nation’s most respected golf resorts. Imagine teeing off what is seemingly the edge of the world, launching you ball into the light, clear, Rocky Mountain air. At Keystone, you’re in for some of the greatest golfing of your life in one of the most spectacular setting you’ll ever experience.

The accolades are astounding! Keystone was rated one of the top golf resorts in the country by “Golf Magazine” and Golf Digest.” Choose the Hurdson-Fry River Course ($50-$135) or the Robert Trent Jones Keystone Ranch Course ($45-$120) at 7,090/ All fees are for 18 holes and include a golf cart, practice facility access and practice balls. Clubs are available for $50.

ATV RENTALS AND TOURS- Experience the mountains in a whole new way. Go on a group tour or a day on your own. Top-of- the line ATVs available. Reservation required.

FLY FISHING- Take in the mountain air and enjoy the peace of the river at the same time. Summit guides offers fly fishing year round. Minimum 10 years of age. Reservations required.
